Fractals

My work with Fractals takes the literal definition - ‘the self-repeating properties found within a single object of nature’ – and broadens the principles to how nature repeats itself though multiple phenomena. In order to capture the depth of my subject’s anatomy, its dynamism, its turbulence, and its unpredictability, I use a carefully controlled palette to engage the viewer and ask them to question their own bond between human activity and the patterns and cycles of nature.
